How we work

Transparency has to be verifiable. Here we answer the questions you should ask a platform like ours.

How is AI Connect funded?

For readers and companies searching for providers, AI Connect is completely free. Providers can book paid listing packages (Basic, Verified, Featured) — this offer already exists, but there are currently no paying providers yet, so AI Connect generates no revenue at the moment. Transparency about what the packages do: Featured listings appear higher in the directory, are labelled as “Featured” and are preferred in matching when the substantive match is equal. The substantive match with your inquiry always takes precedence; payment cannot substitute for missing relevance. If the model changes, we will disclose it transparently right here.

Can providers buy placements or rankings?

In the Model Compass and in the news there are no paid placements — recommendations there are editorially maintained, justified and not for sale. In the provider directory, however, the booked listing tier visibly plays a role: it determines the display order (Featured before Verified before Basic) and serves as a tie-break in matching when the substantive match is equal; Featured listings are labelled accordingly. What cannot be bought is the substantive match itself: which providers fit your inquiry is decided solely by the comparison with your details.

How do we decide which story ranks first?

By recency and algorithmic weighting (publication date, evidence score, number of sources) — never by commercial interests. The AI radar updates automatically several times a day.

AI Connect is “Powered by Velentis” — are in-house products favoured?

Products from the Velentis network (such as Jarvis, DocuMind, ImmoMind) are explicitly labelled “own product” everywhere and run separately from the directory. Important for context: providers from the operator's Velentis network (currently iberia and PropAI Solutions) also take part in the directory and matching; they are labelled as “Affiliated company”, and for certain industry signals (e.g. real estate or administration/Spain) they are prioritised as specialised matches. We disclose this connection; there are no milder assessment standards, and you can see the label directly on the listing.

How are the news stories produced?

Our radar stories are produced fully automatically by an AI system from vetted sources — which is why we label every article as “AI-generated” (Art. 50(4) EU AI Act). Before publication, automated technical checks run: every verbatim quote must demonstrably appear in the source, every figure must be backed by a reachable source page, and anything not conclusively confirmed is marked as such — including in the headline. There is currently no human sign-off of each individual article; each article's evidence score openly shows how well a story is substantiated. Please report errors via our contact address — we correct promptly.

What can't we do yet?

AI Connect is a young product: sections vary in depth, areas like jobs and network are still being built, and we correct continuously. If you spot an error, write to us — we take corrections seriously.
